Vinyasa Flow Level 1-2

This class is taught by:

Scott Winslow

Yoga has been a beautiful transformational journey. Through my practice I have gained tools to observe myself more honestly and have formed improved discipline to let go of old thought patterns, habits and emotions that no longer serve my connection to the greatest good.
I was called to serve my community with the founding of YogaBody studios during the summer of 2011. Today, I enjoy teaching weekly classes to an evolving community of amazing human beings from all walks of life. Yoga has taught me that community is no doubt our greatest currency and I stand humbled by the wealth that surrounds me. Please join me in class soon and let's gratefully celebrate our prosperity together.

Luke King

When I first unrolled my yoga mat I wasn’t sure what to expect. Coming from a farm town in Michigan, yoga was something very foreign to me, I had heard much, but experienced little. When I left the room after 75 minutes, I realized I had found what I had been searching for all along, peace. As I continued to practice not only did I grow in peace I also found confidence, strength, and flexibility, not to mention I was also having a ton of fun! It was an easy decision then to want to share those things with you. Through breath, movement, music and some humor sprinkled in, my intention is for you to find your own peace, confidence, strength and flexibility. I am looking forward to joining you on this journey!

Cosette Deza

Dancing since the age of four, Cosette has always been on the move. This background helped her develop body awareness and appreciation for creative expression. Thus, she was easily drawn to the physical asanas of yoga, especially Vinyasa flow. Cosette had taken a few classes at a gym and for a semester in college, however it wasn’t until early 2012 when she began practicing consistently at Purple Yoga that she found the satisfaction of breath and stillness that yoga also provides in a modern, nonstop life. It is through yoga that Cosette has deeply acknowledged the mind-body connection's healing qualities. She is grateful to have found a practice that can be equally challenging, graceful, and humbling. In October of 2013, she completed her 200-hour teacher training with Purple Yoga. Cosette hopes that people recognize their potential, but more importantly embrace themselves exactly as they are. She looks forward to continuing her training –learning from her fellow instructors, students, and from within.

A moderately challenging flow of dynamic movement linked with breath. This class focuses on the fundamentals of basic to intermediate poses with an emphasis on safe alignment, mindful breathing, and assists in the gradual development of greater flexibility, strength and balance. Open to beginners as well as experienced students.
